They nurture each pupil throughout their entire High School journey, unearthing strengths, and passions, providing the best foundation for the future. Potential is untapped via memorable learning every day and these memories last a lifetime.
Improving Parental Engagement
In 2018, the High School of Glasgow were on a mission to reduce the amount of paper used when collecting parental forms. Not only had this previously been a time consuming and highly expensive process, but the school also found that paper often led to a lack of returns due to forms being misplaced. There was a clear requirement for the implementation of a more efficient and cost-effective Forms collection process.
The Solution: Groupcall Forms
The High School of Glasgow onboarded onto Groupcall Forms back in 2018 and have enjoyed the benefits of the module ever since. Staff at the school advocate that the Forms module has been excellent in tracking responses to various forms, from trip/activity permissions and IT agreements to keyworker cover requests (during Covid) and general questionnaires. The school have seen significant improvements in both parental response times and the percentage of returned forms since onboarding. This has subsequently led to a significant decrease in the amount of time and money spent on this process, all while meeting their initial target of making school forms a paperless process.
The final word
“We have used Forms for several years and both the parents and staff really like the interface and simplicity of the system. We can easily track responses and chase outstanding ones as required. The time saving is even more useful than the sheer paper cost, as well as having an easily searchable archive of responses.”
